What lawn and garden care involves
Lawn and garden maintenance keeps outdoor spaces safe and usable: mowing and edging, hedge and shrub trimming, small-tree pruning, weed control, mulching, seasonal clean-ups and green-waste removal. Everything we cut or pull is taken away.
For NDIS participants, garden maintenance may be funded under household tasks in Core Supports when you can't reasonably do it yourself. The NDIA decides what your plan funds, and it generally covers maintenance rather than landscaping.
What's included
- Lawn mowing and edging
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Small-tree pruning
- Weed control and mulching
- Green-waste removal
- Seasonal clean-ups and scheduled visits
Lawn and garden care around Parramatta
Parramatta is a city and major commercial centre in Greater Western Sydney, about 24 km west of the Sydney CBD on the banks of the Parramatta River. It is the seat of the City of Parramatta and hosts government offices and courts, with neighbouring suburbs including Westmead, North Parramatta, Harris Park and Rosehill.
We maintain yards for NDIS participants in Parramatta 2150 — a one-off clean-up for a garden that's got away from you, or scheduled visits so it never gets there again.
Green waste is taken away with us, so you don't have to wait for a City of Parramatta garden-waste collection or find room in the bin.
Nearby Harris Park, Westmead, North Parramatta and Northmead are covered too.

Lawn and garden care in Parramatta: common questions
Do you provide lawn mowing and garden care in Parramatta?
Yes. We support people in Parramatta 2150 and nearby suburbs such as Harris Park, Westmead and North Parramatta. Which worker can help, and when, depends on the days and times you need, so tell us your suburb and routine when you enquire and we'll confirm what we can arrange.
Do I need to book a City of Parramatta green-waste pickup after a visit?
No. We take the green waste from our visit away with us. Council collections are still useful for anything else in the yard.
Is lawn mowing covered by the NDIS?
It can be, under household tasks in Core Supports, if your disability means you can't reasonably do it yourself.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Everything we cut, trim or pull is cleared away as part of the visit.
